Community Ride

Neighborhood carpooling built on trust before transit. You don't book a stranger — you meet a neighbor: prima ci si conosce, poi si viaggia.

01 · Onboarding

Three screens teach a new social contract

The approved onboarding sells the ritual, not the app: find neighbors on your route, trust is vouched by the community, and the first meeting happens in a public place. No payments — solo fiducia. Route setup is one decision at a time.

02 · Discovery

A map that keeps its distance

People are never pins. Everyone appears as a soft, approximate zone — the pattern Airbnb and Strava validated — so you can find a companion without anyone finding your door. The list view is the map's fully equivalent, accessible twin.

03 · Interest, not booking

Trust has first names

Maria isn't a rating — she's vouched by Lucia, Marco and Anna, ID-verified, 400 meters away. The CTA sends an interest, not a reservation; the success screen says so honestly and shows exactly what happens next.

04 · The loop closes

Every good ride makes the next one safer

Chat opens only on mutual acceptance. After the first meeting, the review flow converts a good experience into a garanzia — the emerald moment that feeds the trust graph everyone else searches on. Shared rides also count what matters: kilograms of CO₂, together.

05 · Decisions that shaped it

Four calls a screen can't show

Color system

Two blues, one job each

Deep cobalt owns every control; the vivid legacy blue is reserved for translucent privacy blobs — because cobalt reads gray below 16% opacity. Rigid roles keep one-accent discipline with two hues.

Mechanic

Interesse, not prenotazione

Research on vouch systems shows reciprocal-tap trust gets gamed. Interest → mutual chat → public first meeting puts the human checkpoint before the ride, not after.

Compliance

Solo donne is a preference

An EU regulator shut down hard women-only matching (Pinker, Portugal). Here the filter narrows your own view — it never excludes anyone from the marketplace.

Voice

A warm paper world

No cold grays, no pure black, pill geometry everywhere, pastel avatars with warm-brown initials. Copy speaks neighbor-to-neighbor: honest, concrete, in Torino's own terms.
